Who this covers

This policy covers this website and the ordering, account and contact pages on it, all run by Grey Area Research LLC of Frisco, Texas.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number, your password (which we never see in the clear), and the confirmations you made when you created the account.
• Order details — what you ordered, what it cost, which payment method you chose, the order’s status and its tracking numbers.
• Addresses — the shipping and billing addresses you save or type at checkout.
• Messages — whatever you write in the contact form or send us by email or text, with the address you gave so we can answer.
• Request logs — the IP address, browser and page of a request, kept by the web server and by Cloudflare so the site stays up and abuse can be shut off.
• Product pages you open — while you are signed in, the store notes which product page you opened, against your account, so we know what people are asking after and what to keep on the shelf. It stays in the store and goes nowhere else.
• A referral code, if you arrived with one — a link from somebody in our affiliate programme carries their code. Your browser keeps it and the store records the visit, so that they are credited if you go on to order. It is a code, not a name, and it says nothing about you.

What we do not collect

We run no website analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracking, and nothing you do here is sold on or handed to an advertising network. The record we do keep is the plain one described above — your account, your orders, the product pages you open while signed in, and the code you arrived with — and it is never used to follow you around other websites.

We never store your Zelle, Venmo or Cash App handle, and we never see a card number — no card is charged on this website.

We do not ask for, and do not want, anything about your body or your reasons for ordering, or any document beyond the age confirmation you make when you create the account.

Why we hold it

To take, price, pack, ship and track your order. To answer you when you write. To keep your account and order history somewhere you can read it. To meet our own record-keeping and tax obligations. To stop fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

Email and text

We email and text you about your own orders — that is part of the order, not marketing. Anything else goes only to people who ticked the optional box when they created their account, and every one of those messages carries a way out. Message and data rates may apply to texts.

Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. What it does keep is the little your session needs: a sign-in token, a cart identifier and, if you followed an affiliate’s link, that referral code — all held by your own browser in local and session storage, plus whatever Cloudflare sets to tell people apart from bots. Clearing your browser storage signs you out, empties the cart and drops the code.

Who else handles it

• OrienOS — the platform behind the catalogue, cart, accounts and orders, acting as our processor. Your account and order records live there.
• Cloudflare — DNS, the front edge of the website, and the bot check on the contact form.
• Carriers — USPS, FedEx and UPS get the name, address and phone number a package needs to arrive.
• Google Fonts — the typefaces this site is set in are loaded from Google’s font servers, which therefore see the IP address and browser of anyone who loads a page. Nothing about your account, your cart or your order goes with that request.

Nobody else. If that ever changes, this page changes with it. We also hand over what the law obliges us to hand over, and no more.

Where it lives, and for how long

Records are held on servers in the United States. Order and account records are kept while the account exists, and afterwards for as long as our tax and record-keeping duties require. Notes sent through the contact form are kept while we are dealing with them and for as long afterwards as the order they concern may need, then deleted. Request logs are kept briefly and then rolled off.

Keeping it to ourselves

Access is limited to the owner and to the people he has to let in to run the business. Accounts sit behind passwords, the site is served over HTTPS, and payment handles are never stored. No website can promise perfection, and this one does not.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and what goes with it, apart from records we are obliged to keep.
• Opt out of marketing email or text whenever you like.
• Ask us anything about any of the above.

Under 21

This website is not for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 21. If you think a minor has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date, and a material change is called out.
